Angora Goats

We have been raising Angora goats since 1990. It seems as though they have always been a part of us and this place. We started with 2 colored goats and 3 commercial white does, hoping they would produce fiber for spinning and clear some of the brush on our land. They were the beginning of a great adventure in color genetics and fleece production. We are now proud to produce some of the finest mohair yarns in the country as well as registered colored and white animals with fine fleeces, strong bodies, and consistent handspinning quality.

We have another great kid crop this year....and we have reduced our herd, as we are in the process of diversifying and making room for our miniature bucking bulls. (They are great fun, but need pasture space!) Everyone is in great shape! All of our stock for sale is registered with CAGBA and/or AAGBA We will gladly discount all group sales and 4H project animals. Pedigrees and fleece samples available . Norris, 2 yrs. $300	Nova, 2 yrs. $150

Zero is AAGBA,4 yrs., faded red, $200. He has excellent fleeces and is a good producer. Zero came to us from Tracy Ross, with Texas South African blood lines.	Ozzie, 1 yr. is very dark, dense, and fine fleeced. He will be a good herd buck. $150

Encore sired most of our kids this year, and has a great disposition - He is a dominant black and throws brown and black kids. $250	Look for me at BSG! We're planning to bring a few kids to Black Sheep in June.

Jade (5 yrs, $300) has both brown & black kids. This year she has one of each!	Ruby is AAGBA registered, born faded red, and showing color in her kids. She has a tight ringlet fleece as an aged doe 5yrs. $150

Nita & Nada are out of colored does x Zero. They have consistent, curly fleeces at 2 years. Great moms $100 each
